High School Learning Overview (Grades 10–12)
At TFA, our high school program equips students to graduate as future-ready leaders who think critically, live with integrity, and contribute meaningfully to their families, careers, and communities. Learning is grounded in TFA’s Senior Expectations, Essential Skills, and Workplace Standards, ensuring students grow academically, spiritually, and personally.
Academic Foundations
Mathematics
Students apply algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and functions to solve real-world problems, interpret data, and prepare for college and career pathways.
English & Communication
Students read deeply, write persuasively and creatively, refine ideas through revision, and communicate clearly through speaking and media literacy.
Science
Students design experiments, analyze data, evaluate evidence, and recognize bias while exploring global systems and the ongoing nature of discovery.
Social Studies
Students develop historical perspective, study cultures and geography, understand institutions and government, and practice civic responsibility.

Graduates demonstrate:

The TFA Graduate
By 12th grade, our students are curious learners, confident communicators, critical thinkers, and compassionate leaders prepared for college, careers, and life.

Jr. High Learning Overview
The Foundation Academy’s Junior High STEAM program is designed to educate the whole child by combining rigorous academics with critical thinking, inquiry, life skills, and social-emotional growth. Through a cross-curricular, project-based model, students gain the tools to become adaptable, responsible, and future-ready learners.
